Finding Connection

"I was on the beach this morning in meditation which gave me a moment of clarity.

I realized that even with friends and family all around us, it's possible to feel lonely in the midst of our busy lives.

As humans, we are wired for connection and sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can still feel isolated and disconnected.

That's why it's important to take time for ourselves and find activities and practices that help us connect with our inner selves and the world around us. Whether it's meditating on the beach or another form of self-care, for example, I packed the kids up this morning and we went to The big boing(a trampolining facility) and we all had so much fun together, laughing, competing, jumping and leaping, I felt a huge connection to my kids and they just loved seeing me laugh and having fun. (actually, I'm pretty sure they were just laughing at me not with me 🤣)
